Regular attendance at school is vital to promote good learning, positive attitudes and strong friendships.

We want to do our best for all children in our community, and at Cliff Park Junior School we firmly believe that regular attendance at school is vital for children as it promotes good learning, positive attitudes and maintains continuity in their education and friendships.

Home and school must work together to ensure that children feel safe and secure, and know the routines clearly.

Please note that it is the policy of East Anglia Schools Trust to discourage leave of absence during term time and holiday requests are not normally authorised.

We are committed to giving your child the best opportunities that we can. We do this most effectively when working with you.

Opportunities for children at Cliff Park Junior School

There are lots of opportunities at school and in the community for children to get involved in extra activities. However, we also know how difficult it is to make ends meet and sometimes it is difficult to find the money for extra things which make life richer for our children. The government makes additional payments to schools for those children who are disadvantaged because their parents have to manage on very low incomes.
