Bio: Louise Watkins

Louise Watkins

I have been working in education for the past nineteen years. I spent much of my early career working as a class teacher in central London and Essex before returning to my home county of Norfolk in 2004.  Over the years I have enjoyed working with young people from the ages of four to thirteen and from a diverse range of backgrounds, both as a teacher and then as a school leader.

Before training as a teacher, I worked in nursing, supporting vulnerable adults with mental health difficulties and I continue to value the importance of emotional well-being and the vital role that schools can play in developing this.

It is my firm belief that all children can and will achieve their potential if given the right conditions within which to do so. In my role as Head of School at Cliff Park Junior School, I am committed to creating an ethos where children are placed at the very heart of learning
